Gig Harbor Realtor · Investor

In real estate since 2011. On both sides of every deal.

I am an investor and Realtor, and I have been investing in real estate on both sides of the table since 2011. Before I was ever licensed, I had already bought, sold, and made every kind of mistake that you can make with your own money. That experience does not show up on a license certificate, but it changes how I read a deal. I know what it feels like to be the seller watching days-on-market tick up. I know what it feels like to be the buyer walking into a negotiation where the other side has more information than you do. That perspective is what I bring into every transaction I work on now.

On paper I have been a licensed Washington broker since 2013, but the professional background goes further back than that. I have a marketing degree and have worked in marketing professionally since 2006. That is not a footnote. Most agents list a property and then hold their breath. I do not. The positioning, the photography direction, the copy, the sequencing of how a home gets introduced to the market: those are marketing decisions, and I make them with the same intention I would apply to any campaign. The difference shows up in the response a listing gets in its first week.

I am based in Gig Harbor and have been here since 2018. My husband Alex is a Washington State Ferry captain who came up from Alaska — if you have crossed the Sound, there is a reasonable chance he was behind the wheel. We are raising our two kids, ages six and nine, here along with our dogs and assorted other animals. This is not a market I cover on a map. It is where we live.

I work with Windermere Professional Partners specifically because the network and transaction standards fit this market. In Gig Harbor, the same names come up on both sides of a transaction with some regularity. Affiliation matters. And the marketing tools Windermere puts behind a listing are worth having when you are trying to reach buyers beyond the immediate area.

If you are selling, buying, or figuring out whether Gig Harbor makes sense for you, I am glad to talk through it.

How I work.

I've been on your side of the table

Investing since 2011 means I have made the same decisions you are facing now. I know where sellers leave money and where buyers overpay. That is not a positioning statement. It is just what you pick up when you have skin in the game for fifteen years.

I market it, I don't just list it

A marketing degree and two decades of professional marketing work do not stay in a previous career. I apply that thinking to every listing: the positioning, the photography direction, the copy, the sequencing of how the property gets introduced. That work happens before the sign goes in the ground.

Direct, not diplomatic

I will tell you what I think, including when the answer is no, or not yet, or not this property. You are making a significant financial decision. You deserve a specific read on your specific situation, not a presentation designed to keep everyone comfortable.

The perspective that changes how you negotiate.

The investor eye.

When I look at a property, I am not just thinking about whether you will like living there. I am thinking about what it is actually worth, what the market will actually bear, and where the deal has room to move. That comes from having bought and sold on my own account since 2011. When you have made those decisions with your own money, you read a transaction differently.

For sellers, that means I know where buyers are looking for concessions and how to counter them without losing the deal. For buyers, it means I know when a listing is priced to move and when it is priced to fish, and I will tell you which is which before you write an offer.
